The Borders are an eclectic band consisting of multi-talented musicians and songwriters, probably unique in its ability to play a fusion of music genres, originals and covers with a twist, ranging primarily from blues, southern rock, rock & roll, jazz and country, with the occasional dash of reggae thrown in.
Each member of The Herbaceous Borders brings his own personal creative expertise and style to each and every song, resulting in a totally crowd thrilling sound.

Some of you will recognise this band as they have planned many a gig for us before under their old band name of ‘Bluzebox’
After a sudden and unexpected loss of a founder member last year the band initially decided to call it a day, however after a period of reflection the remaining members have decided to go again with a new name!
The music has changed a bit but the vibes are definitely still there, they will be performing an eclectic mix of favourite tunes from artists such as T Rex, Cockney Rebel, Thin Lizzy, Amy winehouse, Brian Adams, ZZ Top, Bruce Springsteen, Robert Palmer and a whole host more!!

Stoke on Trent based James Biddulph Jnr will be perormfing an afternoon set packed full of self penned numbers for you to enjoy!
Some of you will have seen James before, when he played for us in his old band, 'The Red Kites'.
Currently performing solo...Singer songwriter James plays Well crafted songs with an Early 70's westcoast vibe with soulful melody's and introspective lyrics, he has been playing Theatres/ packed bars and festivals recently in support of his solo E.p' Best we can get'
He is a musical troubadour with bags of experience, James has gained a fantastic reputation as a live act drawing on his vast set list from his many projects.

Ed Case Conway is a musician, singer and entertainer who for more than three decades has been playing pubs clubs, concerts and Festivals all over Great Britain, Ireland and Europe. Perhaps best known for his antics fronting crazy covers band Lost The Plot, Ed is also a respected songwriter, singer and multi instrumentalist with his reimagined Folk band the Unlawful Men, who to date have released 5 albums.
With his bands or on his own Ed is an engaging performer who delivers a riotous joyfull set full of irresistable covers, campfire anthems, original folk and feel good acoustic skullduggery.. Eds solo shows are always high energy, loads of fun and guaranteed to have you singing along, dancing around (sometimes on the tables) and then send you home smiling. THE MELVIN HANCOX BAND
Some of you will have seen Melvin and the band at our Waters Edge Festival, and also in our old establishment....
Since forming in 2019 The Melvin Hancox Band have achieved much in a short space of time, recording two albums of originality and popularity of their own compositions also appearing on the "Fruits der Mer" records "The Half Time Orange" sampler.
As I mentioned earlier, they truly are one of the hardest working live bands in the country with interviews and in house sessions for Pete Feenstra & The Blues and Beyond radio shows and most recently being featured on BBC Radio 2's The Blues Show with Cerys Matthews.
They are also a venue and festival favourite described as "a whole new sensation" at 2020's "Giant's Of Rock". Their drive, vibe and professionalism guarantees a night to remember.
